Report on East Saxon Machinery Industry Days

On October 16-17, we had the pleasure of hosting the 11th East Saxon Machinery Industry Days (Ostsächsische Maschinenbautage - OMT) in picturesque Bautzen (German: Bautzen) - an interesting event on the calendar of professionals associated with the mechanical engineering and metalworking industries. By attending OMT, we hoped not only to learn about modern manufacturing technologies, but also to better understand the challenges faced by companies in this sector.

The first day of the event opened with a symposium under the theme "Software and AI solutions for efficient manufacturing."

Speakers from leading companies such as Fraunhofer IKTS, Symate, Trumpf and ARNIO, as well as representatives from the Fraunhofer IWU research institute and Dresden University of Technology discussed how advanced software and artificial intelligence are automating manufacturing processes, quality control, component design and even error correction during the production process itself. We had the opportunity to see practical applications of these systems in large companies that serve a wide range of customers.

Of particular interest were systems for monitoring machine operating parameters and failure prediction systems based on data analysis.

We were also interested in solutions based on digital product passports, which allow quick access to key product information.

After the substantive part, a cooperation exchange took place, during which we had the opportunity to establish contacts with representatives of several companies and discuss potential areas of cooperation.

The afternoon and evening passed in a slightly more relaxed atmosphere, when we had the opportunity to explore the heart of beautiful Bautzen under the guidance of a guide The culmination of the day was an elegant dinner at the Burgtheater Bautzen, accompanied by piano accompaniment. It was an excellent opportunity for informal conversations with potential business partners.

The second day was marked by visits to two manufacturing plants, where we were able to see with our own eyes the advanced technologies used in daily operations.

These experiences have allowed us to better understand how our software can support companies in automating processes, monitoring production or managing resources.

Participation in the 11th East Saxon Machinery Industry Days in Bautzen was a valuable experience for us, which allowed us to explore modern technological solutions used in the mechanical engineering and metalworking industries. The symposium and visits to manufacturing companies provided a lot of inspiration and ideas on how our solutions can support production processes, and conversations with representatives of various companies opened up new opportunities for cooperation.

We believe that the knowledge gained and contacts established will contribute to the further development of our products and services.
